Capturing the curvaceous form of the 300 SL at a small scale presented some design challenges which add variety and many interesting techniques to this build. This was a really tricky design, the mudguards at 6 studs long made the corners in particular quite fun to resolve and replicating the sill trim as only a bracket thickness made for some challenging internal structures.
The model also features a detailed front bumper, the trademark curved rear deck and the pop-out handles on the famous gull-wing doors.
Although it may be built in Light Bluish Grey or White, I would recommend Dark Blue as supplied.
